Occupational Rehabilitation
At OMHS we have outstanding experience and skill in the area of returning to work with a mental health condition. We believe that return to work plans for psychological conditions should not be the same as that for a physical condition. We have spent years designing top quality return to work programs that are based on true psychological capacity, cognitive behavioural principles embedded with in-built real-world strategies.
Psychological Services
OMHS provides independent psychological assessments and psychological treatment. We are Medicare, Work Cover and Compare Accredited to provide all treatment services. We can assist in a range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety and trauma. We are also specialists at providing psychological assessments related to work and ensure that recommendations are realistic and meaningful.
Corporate Services
Our Corporate Program is focused on supporting organisations in managing mental health within the work environment. This includes consulting, mentoring and supervisor training and coaching to address the gap between general mental health first aid training and the specific relational skills required when supporting employees returning from mental health-related absences.
OMHS also offers an assessment on the current status of organisations in relation to their mental health policies and practices. This assessment identifies gaps in managing mental health and a strategy and plan can be formalised for improvements.
Group Training
Our flagship 12-module group training Vocational Recovery Program for Mental Health Claimants has been adapted to various occupational groups and also formatted to suit client needs.
